This project involved the restoration and refurbishment of the Old Maintenance & Carpentry Workshops at Herdmans Linen Mill to provide seven CRISPS workspace units with common landlords facilities. Each workspace was beautifully restored keeping the original architecture and character of the original building whilst providing wide open spaces with plenty of natural lighting, the schemes main funders included DSD, DETI, IFI and Environment and Heritage Service NI and the Body behind the restoration was SMBPT (Sion Mills Buildings Preservation Trust) the scheme cost £1.3million and was completed in March 2009.
