The new houses at Carton were inspired by Frank Lloyd-Wright and designed by award-winning Murray O’Laoire Architects.
Every one of these bright and flexible houses has been carefully integrated into the lush forest setting, offering a unique view across the surrounding landscape. Some stride gallantly up grassy banks and overlook the golf course; others are modestly tucked away amid beech and oak trees. Sustainability was vital from the outset; local cut-stone, slate and timber are used throughout. The new houses come in three styles the FitzGerald, the Tyroconnell and the Leinster. Central to the design concept of the Carton Houses were absolute beliefs in the importance of sustainability and attention to detail. The quality of the workmanship and specifications throughout these houses is of the highest standard, as befits a property with such an important artistic and architectural history.
