This project involved the construction of a new five storey extension to the ‘existing listed Slieve Donard Hotel’. The Ground and First Floors comprise Swimming Pool, Sauna, Steam Room, Jacuzzi, Beauty Rooms, Treatment Rooms, Heat Experience Pools, Fitness Suite, Male/Female Shower and Changing Areas with Relaxation Rooms and Lounges. The 2nd to 5th Floors comprises 65 fully Air-Conditioned Bedroom Suites. The complete project has been designed to an extremely high specification to cater for foreign tourists. The new 65 bed extension was built as a phased New Build and Refurbishment whilst the remainder of the existing hotel remain in operation throughout the duration of the works.
